Meet Our Team

Dale Rose

Dale S. Rose, Ph.D., President

Dr. Rose co-founded 3D Group in 1994 in Chicago, Illinois. He is an expert in leadership development, evaluation research, and assessment-based human resources solutions. Dr. Rose coaches over 100 managers one-on-one each year and has authored more than a dozen commercial assessments for identifying and developing talent. Previously, Dr. Rose held research positions with Ameritech, National Computer Systems, and Acumen International. He has presented papers nationally to the Academy of Management, Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology, American Psychological Association, the Northern California Human Resources Association, American Psychological Society, and the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action.

Dr. Rose has taught undergraduate courses ranging from statistics to group dynamics and is currently adjunct faculty at San Francisco State University, where he teaches a graduate seminar in Organizational Change and Development. He has also written book chapters and published articles in academic journals including Current Psychology, Journal of Business and Psychology, Journal of Educational Research and Evaluation Review. Dr. Rose received his Doctoral degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from DePaul University with a minor in Organizational Effectiveness Technologies.

When he isn’t helping managers and organizations to be more effective, teaching or writing, Dr. Rose can be found competing in regional and statewide backgammon tournaments, riding his bicycle, or relaxing with his family.

Michaela Parks

Michaela Parks, Ph.D., Vice President

Co-founder of 3D Group, Dr. Parks manages company operations and provides project support to 3D Group consultants as needed. Michaela Parks received her Doctoral degree in Clinical and Community Psychology from DePaul University. Dr. Parks has several years of experience in program evaluation research with an emphasis on arts in education programs, including serving as the Director of Evaluation at Urban Gateways: The Center for Arts in Education in Chicago. She has extensive experience evaluating education programs and working with community based organizations to implement and utilize evaluation research.

Dr. Parks currently applies her exceptional organizational skills to running all operational aspects of 3D Group (e.g., contracts management, accounts receivable/payable, vendor management, IT systems maintenance, and developing and maintaining office systems). She also oversees the development and maintenance of our proprietary on-line survey system. In addition to running company operations, Dr. Parks provides internal support to assist 3D Group consultants with specific aspects of larger projects (e.g., data collection and analysis, survey design, and report production).

In her free time, she enjoys making jewelry, travel (particularly to warm and sunny climates), spending time with friends and family and tinkering with her house.

Elna Moore Hall

Elna Moore Hall, Ph.D., Director of Consulting Services

As Director of Consulting Services, Dr. Hall is responsible for ensuring 3D Group’s delivery of superior client solutions. She has broad expertise in leadership and organization effectiveness, with over 15 years of management background in both internal and external consulting roles. As a senior consultant for Hewitt Associates’ Talent and Organization practice, Dr. Hall developed human capital and change management strategies for a variety of Fortune 500 corporations, and benchmarked and designed Best Employer programs based on trends from Fortune Magazine’s 100 Best Companies analyses. Prior to that, Dr. Hall led the leadership and succession management functions for Motorola’s $11 billion cellular infrastructure business. She has supported clients across the private, public and nonprofit sectors, with particular focus on telecommunications, financial services, education and aerospace.

Dr. Hall holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from DePaul University, with a focus on global leadership and change. She is a contributing author to the book Consulting and Evaluation with Nonprofit and Community-based Organizations, and has published in the Journal of Business and Psychology and the Performance in Practice journal of the American Society for Training and Development. She has consulted across four continents on strategies to attract, promote and retain key talent.

Andrew D. English

Andrew D. English, Ph.D., Senior Consultant

Dr. English specializes in employee surveys , psychometrics, training development and evaluation, and team consultation. Prior to joining 3D Group, Andrew’s work experiences included conducting job and task analyses, developing and validating personnel selection systems, producing 360° managerial feedback reports, and acting as a mental health counselor and statistician for a non-profit child abuse prevention center. He has also produced several reports on using advanced technologies for training and exercising for the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, and the Australian Defense Simulation Office. He is actively involved in research spanning the areas of team training and advanced technology to personality assessment and theories of individual differences.

Andrew is a member of the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the American Psychological Association (APA). Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from The Florida Institute of Technology.

Andrew spent the past 8 years living on a barrier island in Florida, and is definitely drawn to beach living. Personal interests include guitars (both LOUD and soft), galactic funk, books and exploring the outdoors.

Micheline A. Magnotta

Micheline A. Magnotta, M.S., Senior Consultant

Ms. Magnotta specializes in program evaluation research. She has had over 12 years of experience evaluating educational programs, such as Even Start family literacy programs, Comprehensive School Reform programs, alternative education programs, and technology-related professional development programs for teachers. Before joining 3D Group, she held evaluation positions with Syracuse University, University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, Social Policy Research, and Health Federation of Philadelphia. With highest honors, Ms. Magnotta received her Masters of Science degree in Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation at Syracuse University. She is a regular presenter at the American Evaluation Association and a member of San Francisco Bay Area Evaluators.

Having grown up in the Midwest where hills are few and far between, Micheline enjoys hiking and camping in the Bay Area’s varied regional parks and taking day trips to explore Northern California.

Erin E. Bowe-Raabe

Erin E. Bowe-Raabe, M.S., Consultant

Erin specializes in organizational surveys, employee assessment, and action planning. Her expertise across all phases of the survey life cycle makes her an ideal guide for clients working with employee feedback to understand how company culture and employee engagement impact people and business performance. Before joining 3D Group, Erin worked as a project manager for Towers Watson’s Organizational Surveys and Insights practice, where she designed and facilitated employee engagement and culture surveys for a variety of organizations, including governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that, she held personnel analyst positions with Google and the City and County of San Francisco, developing, validating, and implementing employee selection exams and conducting competency analyses. Erin earned her Master’s of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University, and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. As head of our southern California location, Erin is able to provide quick onsite service throughout the southwest region, while continuing to work with clients around the country.

As a native of Southern California, Erin enjoys warm weather and an active outdoor lifestyle. Having a keen interest in people and other cultures, she has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. She is also an avid ice hockey and soccer fan, snowboarder, dog-lover, and aspiring foodie.

John Diller

John Diller, M.A., Consultant

Mr. Diller specializes in leadership workshops, coaching, and developing customized surveys and reports. In addition to direct client work, he provides operational support to other consultants for issues ranging from billing to core technology. He has extensive experience as an administrator, manager, and teacher in both the public and private sectors. Before joining 3D Group he held senior positions in software development and education, where he incorporated his dynamic, kinesthetic, and compassionate style, informed by years of training in improv and theater. For over a decade, John has inspired employees, clients, students, and peers with his management, workshops, retreats, classes, and mentorship. John received his Masters of Arts in Education from University of California at Berkeley. A sophisticated analyst, keen interviewer, and passionate educator, he is pleased to bring his expertise to 3D Group.

On the weekends, you will find John in the garden, on his bicycle, out backpacking, or in the theater.

Alex Greenlow

Alexandria Greenlow, Client Services Consultant

Alexandria specializes in implementing 360-degree feedback and employee survey projects. She is a people-person who loves planning the work, working the plan, and getting all the details just right. She is also a technology wiz and enjoys using technology to find the most efficient ways to get things done. As the backbone of Client Services at 3D Group, Alexandria is always available to clients to ensure that technical aspects of each project go smoothly. She monitors project timelines, manages survey data, produces reports, and attends to the many other details that set our survey process apart. Alexandria came to 3D Group after more than 10 years working in the legal field as a Contractor Relations Manager at One Legal, LLC. Working day in and day out with attorneys and paralegals provided Alexandria with an excellent (and intense) learning environment to hone her communications and project management skills, and to perfect her attention to detail. Alexandria received her Associates degree at Laney College and is working on a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.

Alexandria is a serious music lover and in her free time she is with friends singing karaoke, watching movies, or traveling.

Calen Swift

Calen Swift, Office Manager

As Office Manager, Calen supports the client experience and operations alike. Her excellent communication and organizational skills help 3D Group maintain the consistent high quality and flexibility our clients expect, whether she is writing the company newsletter, managing contracts & invoices, or keeping internal systems ship-shape—just a few of her roles here. Calen’s work at 3D Group is informed by her keen interest in organizational effectiveness. She developed this interest through her previous work for an education non-profit and for the Washington State Legislature, where she acted as a link between the public and representatives of government. Calen received her B.A. in Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College.

After seven years in Washington state, Calen is enjoying the sun every chance she gets. She spends hours exploring the vast historical and cultural diversity of San Francisco on foot and without a map.
